Kids are not too young to learn the life-long skill of sewing (typically a good age to start is 10-years old).
New Students: Start with the “Intro to Sew” class. *(new students pay a $15 registration fee)
In this semi-private sewing lesson the student will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine, and learn the basic stitches while completing their first project. Once this initial class is completed, the student can progress onto the next class.
Kids Can Sew Class Times:
Mon. or Tue. 4:15-6:15pm
All students in this program begin with elastic waist shorts, pants or skirt. After completing the initial project, the students are on their own with guidance from the instructor to choose a project that suits their individual style.
**You don’t need to sign up for the entire month. With vacation schedules and other added summer activities, it may be tricky to schedule 3 classes in a session.
You have options! You can sign up for 3 dates for $55, (but they don’t need to be consecutive, but need to be in the same month- for example, 2 Tuesdays and 1 Monday ) or pay as you go, $20 per two hour class.
